London, Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Bern were all excellent places to visit and play. However, as usual, I’m itching to get home. As well, a week from tomorrow (November 4th) is the 2012 ING NY Marathon which I’ll be running in. It will be my first marathon ever (my second race, my first a half marathon back in August). I’m thrilled and extremely nervous. I’ve been training hard on and off the road. I think, physically, I’m prepared. However, running alongside of 30,000 other people all throughout NYC is something I’ve yet to wrap my brain around. As well, I’m raising money for a wonderful organization through running the marathon. The Memorial Sloan-Kettering Foundation is an amazing cancer research and treatment organization that I’m thrilled to be fundraising for. Please click the link the donate! I’m almost at my goal. Aside from the marathon, I’m back in NYC for a full two months. I’m really looking forward to getting some home-turf-time and making music with my fellow NYCers. If you’ve been thinking calling me for a gig, session or lesson…do it! I’m around!

*Fun fact, Video Village was the video rental joint my brother and I rented our VHS movies from as kids. It closed unexpectedly while we still had videos from them. My brother got a permanent copy of The Blob, and I the Chuck Norris classic Sidekicks.
